Jumping Puddles Community Consultancy has been operating since 2006 providing one off assistance to long term project work to sporting and community groups, non-government organisations, local government and the corporate sector.
Located in Karratha WA, Jumping Puddles offers a variety of services to assist with community development, funding applications, community consultation, project and event management and capacity building.
Jumping Puddles is also well known across the Pilbara for its hands on, practical community workshops. Shontay Cardew is the Managing Director of Jumping Puddles with over 25 years of diverse experience working in local government, industry and the not for profit sector. With a Bachelor Social Science (Leisure Science) and supporting studies in Event and Sports Management, Shontay has worked on a variety of projects during her career, of which 18 years have been spent working with regional and remote communities across the Pilbara.
Undoubtedly, Shontay’s passion is community, whether it be working on the ground alongside individuals and grass roots clubs and organisations to working with government and businesses right through to major industry corporations.
Shontay’s hands on approach is drawn from the privilege of working alongside numerous community and sporting organisations, indigenous communities and individuals throughout her career – from seniors to youth, to people with disabilities, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, sporting groups art organisations and tourism, Shontay has covered it all!
On a personal note Shontay is an active community member freely giving of her time serving on numerous boards, committees and community groups. In her leisure time you can find Shontay and her family out and about camping, fishing, boating and generally exploring this truly magnificent country we live in.
